Sarah McCormick, PhD

Clinical Psychologist

Sarah McCormick, PhD, completed her doctoral training at the California School of Professional Psychology (2016), her internship at the Iowa City VA (2016), and her fellowship in Primary Care Psychology at the San Francisco VA (2017). Prior to opening her practice, she worked for 5 years as an Assistant Professor in the Division of Family Medicine at the University of Utah. She has been in private practice since 2022. Dr. McCormick opened the Salt Lake Collective in 2026 to create a space for interdisciplinary care and a community hub for like-minded clinicians.

Dr. McCormick specializes in guiding adults through life transitions, managing chronic health conditions, relationship/communication issues, depression, and anxiety. While she has training in many different approaches, treatment ultimately focuses on improving each individual’s quality of life based on their unique needs. Above all, she believes the most important aspect of therapy is the relationship between the client and the therapist.
